Intro to Lino Print Techniques. Block 1 Autumn 2025.

Spend Monday nights getting inky fingers and those creative ideas flowing in this 4-week introduction to lino printing perfect for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills. We’ll start with designing for lino, then move through bold single-layer prints, playful jigsaw lino, and the magic of simple reduction printing. In the final week, we’ll add an extra touch of charm by embellishing prints with delicate watercolour washes. You’ll finish the course with a stack of beautiful, hand-pulled prints – and the know-how (and enthusiasm!) to keep printing long after the classes end. All materials included along with plenty of Tea, coffee and biscuits.

Block 1 - Course dates and timings:

29th Sept, 6th, 13th & 20th October 2025. Monday evenings, 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Location information:

Printmaking classes take place in my spacious first floor Knaresborough studio. Access to the studio is via a flight of stairs (there is a working lift in the building, but I cannot guarantee it's availability or useability). There is an accessible toilet on the first floor. There is ample free parking directly outside the entrance to the building.
